About Us

Focusing on delivering a prompt custom cardboard box service and can-do attitude has seen our business establish a strong and loyal customer base throughout New Zealand, right here from our Tauranga-based factory.

Custom Cartons was established in July 1997 to fill a much needed gap in the cardboard packaging industry. We design, manufacture and print custom cardboard boxes and boxes to your exact specifications. And for those who are not sure of their carton specifications or options, we will work together to design and create the ideal carton for your needs.

Our highly experienced, dedicated team of machine operators is led by joint owners, Allan and Wendy, who stand by every cardboard box that leaves our factory. Allan and Wendy have had nearly 40 years of self-employment running a varied selection of retail businesses including a video store (back in the olden days), Four square stores and a Book store.  More recently spending 11 years on the Gold Coast in Australia in the accommodation industry running Management Rights Apartment buildings.

Wanting to return home to beautiful NZ, they decided to purchase Custom Cartons and are thoroughly enjoying the challenges of everyone’s requests being so different.

Allan is the design expert(now) and is happy to chat regarding your specific requirements.  Wendy, and her right-hand office assistant Sandra, keep the customers happy and the orders ticking through the factory.
